FACILITY INFORMATION
We are so thankful to have access to the facilities at the Metrolina Christian Academy.
Please help us leave the facility in good shape so that we will be allowed to have more tournaments in the future!
FOOD and DRINK POLICY
We will have three family hang-out rooms. Food is allowed in all family hang-out rooms. However, Non-water drinks are only allowed in the family room with the tiled floor. Only water is allowed in all other parts of the buildings.
There is a large area of picnic tables immediately outside two of the competition buildings that would be a great student hangout area provided that the weather is agreeable. However, backpacks, computers, etc. should not be left unattended at the picnic tables as we may not be the only ones on the church campus.
HOUSEKEEPING NOTE
Please keep the family hang-out rooms tidy. They are only school classrooms. Because it is not a large space like many are used to, please keep your trash picked up.
Please resist the temptation to handle the things on the teacher's desk and the classroom shelves.
MAPS
The school shares the campus with First Baptist Church of Indian Trail. It is a large and confusing campus.
Please enter at Gary Drive. Look for the neon green poster board signs for directions.
PARKING
We would like to reserve the spots closest to the building for the community judges. There will be a pull-through area for temporary unloading of coolers and props for Interp in a Box and Expository. This is marked on the Building and Parking Map
BUILDING LAYOUT
Student check-in, judge hospitality, the judge quiet room, the three family hang-out rooms, ballot push, ballot return, and tab will all be located in Building D, which is labeled as number 4 on the above map of campus.
We will be also using Buildings A (#12 on the map), Building E (#8 & 9), and Building G (#5) for debate and speech competition rooms.
